\title{Writing Papers with Lively Kernel} Jens Lincke and Robert Krahn \begin{abstract} Papers don't have to be written with the emcas any more. This shiny Lively Wiki application allows for writing papers online but with keeping full controll over the pdf generation with Latex. Further more, we can use such papers as Active essays and have a lot of fun programming the application while writing the paper. \end{abstract} \section{Introduction} Writing papers should be fun. To make it fun and more adventurous we do it only by creating the application that helps us writing. To develop and draft this Paper writing application we need some example content. So we create this paper on the fly. \section{Motivation} When I (jens) wrote my diploma thesis, I used the MoinMoin wiki to make notes, outline it, draft it, write it, and finaly convert it into some latex source that was compiled into an PDF file. Because I automated the whole latex generation, I could stay inside the Wiki the whole time and never had to switch to edit the converted latex. \section{Lively Paper Writing} ... \section{Related Work} Serveral wikis such as MoinMoin allow to create pdfs online. \section{Conclusion} There is a lot to do to make it work but we are on our way.
